Future Warriors Take the Field! 🙌
This school year, our elementary and middle schools each launched brand new football programs — and the response has been amazing! Over 90 students from grades 3–6 participated in league play with other local schools.
Tonight, these young athletes were recognized at the school board meeting for their hard work, dedication, and team spirit. We’re so proud of our future Warriors!! ❤️🤍

This week is a great reminder that keeping students safe on and around school buses is a community effort.
Why it matters:
Most bus-related injuries happen outside the bus, not on it.
Kids rely on drivers, parents, and the community to make safe choices at bus stops and on the road.
Safety isn’t just the school’s job—it’s all of us working together.
How we can help:
Slow down in school zones and neighborhoods
Stop when the bus stop-arm is out—no matter how late you’re running
Remind kids to stand back from the road and wait for the driver’s signal before crossing
Thank a bus driver—they carry our most precious passengers every day
Safe Stops = Stronger Communities ❤️🤍

The WHS Children’s Volunteer Club is leading its annual Socktober collection, gathering new and gently used socks for foster children during the month of October. Donations will be given to Together We Foster.

Attention parents and guardians of WHS Seniors: There will be a Senior Parent Meeting on Thursday evening, October 16, during P/T conferences. The meeting will begin at 5:30pm in the High School Library. Information about senior year will be discussed, and a financial aid representative will be in attendance to present the most up-to-date FAFSA information. We hope to see you there!
The Boys' Basketball Parent Meeting will be this Wednesday October 8th starting at 5:30pm in the High School Gym. This is a mandatory meeting for parents of all boys' basketball players 7-12th grade . There will be many items discussed and Coach Geniesse looks forward to meeting you all!
