Attention Parents/Guardians of Westside athletes in grades 6th-12th.
It's that time of year again! St. Bernards Sports Medicine will again provide the athletic physicals for our athletes free of charge! This years physicals will take place at St. Bernards Auditorium located at 505 East Washington, Jonesboro.
Please find in the links below a parent letter and medical forms you will need when attending the event. This information will be given to each athlete as well as being available in the offices at WHS & WMS. All Westside athletes are required to have a physical before participating in sports. WHS athletes can arrive at 2:30 and Jr High will need to arrive at 2:45.

Attention Warrior Baseball and Softball Fans: You will need to take an alternate route when traveling to Forrest City this afternoon for today's games. Highway 49 through Weiner and Waldenburg will be the best option as Highway 1 through Wynne is closed to through traffic.

WHS Children’s Volunteer Club was extremely excited to be able to purchase 30 twin beds for foster families in need through Gamble Home's Buy a Bed, Give a Bed! The Prom Pop-up Shop from last year and this year made this possible! Shout out to StuCo and East for helping out!
The play “Dearly Departed” will be performed @ 7:00pm, April 8th, 2023 as the 1st alumni show ever done at Westside High School. Join us along with other pre and post grads of Westside as we sort through this crazy show! Tickets are $3.00 for students and $5.00 for adults and will be sold at the door the evening of the show at the WHS Fine Arts Center.
The story takes place in the Baptist backwoods of the Bible Belt, the beleaguered Turpin family proves that living and dying in the South are seldom tidy and always hilarious. Despite their earnest efforts to pull themselves together for their father’s funeral, the Turpins’ other problems keep overshadowing the solemn occasion. Amidst the chaos, the Turpins turn for comfort to their friends and neighbors, an eccentric community of misfits who just manage to pull together and help each other through their hours of need, and finally, the funeral.

School Choice is an option for anyone who lives outside of Westside Consolidated School District and would like their child to attend Westside Schools for the 2023-2024 school year. Applications are now being accepted with a deadline of May 1, 2023.

WHS Freshman Levi Sauser earned a spot on the statewide All-Star team for his performance at the Junior High State Quiz Bowl Tournament on Saturday, February 25th. Levi received a medal and is recognized as one of the top quiz bowlers in the state of Arkansas! 🥇💪🥇

🎉 REMINDER 🎉 Cheer tryouts are March 7th & 8th and 14th & 15th for current students in grades 6th - 11th! Tryouts will be held in the WES Cafeteria from 3:20-5:30 each day with a mandatory parent meeting on March 7th at 5:45. Formal judging will be held on March 17th.

Congratulations to the S.H. Choirs for doing a wonderful job at Choral Performance Assessment Wednesday! The Ladies Choir received a Superior rating in performance and an Excellent rating in sightreading. The Concert Choir received a Superior rating in both performance and sightreading. Both choirs have now qualified for State and the Concert Choir is now eligible for a Sweepstakes Trophy.
