Warrior Families:
In accordance to the WHS' student handbook and Act 122 of state law, school officials can make exceptions to the "bell to bell, no cell" policy due to a special school event (pg. 103).

Tomorrow is HOMECOMING and WHS will allow students to use their cellular devices during planned homecoming activities for the purpose of taking photographs. Please help us remind them of appropriate use of technology.

WHS AG SCIENCE CLASS PRESENTATION TO SCHOOL BOARD
Westside High School was proud to welcome State Representative Dwight Tosh today. He spent time in a couple of classrooms and took questions from our students.

His first stop was Coach Brown’s Civics class, where students were discussing the United States Constitution. Representative Tosh shared how his work in the Arkansas Legislature connects to protecting and upholding the Constitution, giving students a real-world look at what they’ve been studying.

He then visited Mr. Miller’s U.S. History class, where students have been learning about the Great Depression. As part of their project, they prepared Depression-era foods and invited Representative Tosh to try some of their dishes. He was a good sport and sampled several while talking with the class.

Our students asked thoughtful questions and represented Westside well. We appreciate Representative Tosh for taking the time to visit and spend part of his day with us.
