Warrior Book Club had its second annual book tasting during enrichment time on Thursday. The theme was "Book Brunch." Faculty members served students a three-course meal and gave a book talk with each course.
WHS Parents and Guardians- invitations are being distributed this week to students who will receive End Of Year Class Awards and/ or are named to the Academic Honor Roll. The awards assembly is next Thursday, May 16 at 8:30 am in the FAC. Parents & Guardians are invited to attend.

On Monday morning, WHS students met to reward great effort on the ATLAS tests that were just taken. Items that were rewarded for the first round of incentives was:

Round 2 will take place when we see the score results next semester.
This is a reminder that parents/guardians of current 8th-11th grade students are invited to attend an informational meeting tonight in the FAC. The 8th and 9th grade parent session will begin at 6pm, and the 10th and 11th grade parent session will begin at 7pm. This meeting is not mandatory but will provide parents and guardians a better understanding of high school graduation requirements.

Tomorrow is Sr day at WHS! The parent led Sr breakfast will begin around 7:30 in the library.
This is also a reminder that the Sr Walk at the elementary and middle school is a STUDENT ONLY event. Parents will not be allowed on the other campuses. This is a safety issue.
Parents are welcome to wait in the FAC until the graduates return around 9:15 or so for those festivities to start.

Mr. Cody Slater, Director of the Jr. Leadership program through the Chamber of Commerce, met one last time with this year’s delegates. Our students provided valuable feedback about the program and presented Mr. Slater with a thank you card on behalf of Westside. Great job, Warriors!

Double bus route today.
Bus 90 students will ride on bus 73 today. They will leave campus at the normal time. The bus 73 route will be completed before starting to drop bus 90 students off. Expect a 25 min delay with bus 90 students getting home.
