WHS students, Wesley Kelems and Miranda Wicker, competed in Special Olympics Bowling at the state level in Little Rock. Miranda earned 2nd place in female singles and Wesley earned 5th place in male singles.

Members of the 2023 Provisional Junior Auxiliary Class (Paige Gilbert, Ashley Christian, Brooke Weaver, Abby Husband, & Kasey Eakins) presented interview and resume guidance to WHS seniors who are headed to the workforce upon graduation. They also provided lunch, toiletries and new interview outfits to eight seniors as part of the Fit for the Future initiative. These students are heading out into the workforce equipped with knowledge and resources for job applications, resume writing and interviews.
